Install

Install OrcaLinq on your platform.

Every install path ends up loading the same universal widget script. Pick the one that matches your stack — the platform plugins ship through their own auto-update channels and stay current automatically.

Not sure?

Not sure what your site runs on?

Very common — somebody else built it. You can find out in about a minute, from your own computer, without asking them.

Read it off your own homepage

  1. Open your website in a browser tab on a computer.
  2. Show the page source: Ctrl+U on Windows, Option+Cmd+U on a Mac. (Or right-click the page → View page source.)
  3. Search that text with Ctrl+F / Cmd+F for each word below until one matches.

Still can't tell?

  • None of the words matched. Then it is a custom or hand-built site, and the plain-HTML instructions apply. Start here.
  • Your site sits behind Cloudflare. Then you do not need to know what it runs on at all — the chat can be added from the Cloudflare dashboard, with no change to the site. Edge install guide.
  • Somebody else has the keys. Send them one line and the address it goes to: paste this tag before </head> on every page. There is nothing confidential in it — the key inside only lets the chat start on web addresses you have registered.
  • You have your site but not your key. The key is already in your page source under data-tenant. How to recover it safely — and what to avoid pressing in the dashboard.

Whichever route you take, the installed result is identical: one small <script> tag pointing at api.orcalinq.com. Only the box you paste it into changes.
