Billing

In India you pay . Elsewhere, $.

Your dashboard decides which one when you open the Billing screen, from the country your connection appears to be in. India goes to a rupee payment; everywhere else goes to a dollar one. The amount charged is exactly the price on the screen — nothing is added at the end.

The prices

Both currencies, side by side

These are the real amounts, taken from the same source the checkout uses.

Standard₹499$6

The rupee and dollar prices are set independently for the Indian market. They are not a conversion of each other, so do not expect them to match at today's exchange rate. Annual billing is cheaper per month on the paid plans — thepricing page has a monthly / yearly switch that shows both.

GST and invoices

Is tax included?

The honest answer, which is not the one a bigger company would give you.

You are charged the listed price. No tax line is added at checkout.

There is no separate GST or VAT amount appended to your payment, and no place to enter a GSTIN before paying. What you see is what leaves your account.

The consequence follows from that: the rows under Billing → Invoices arepayment records — description, date, amount, status — and not GST tax invoices bearing a GSTIN and a tax breakdown. If your business needs a compliant tax invoice for input credit, ask usbefore you pay: email support@orcalinq.com with your registered name, address and GSTIN. Asking afterwards is harder to fix than asking first.

Your bank or card statement will also show a short reference for the payment rather than a plan name, so the Invoices tab is the place to reconcile from.

How the currency is chosen

Nobody picks it, and there is no switch

  • It is decided at the moment you open Billing, from the country your connection appears to be in. India means the rupee path; anything else means the dollar path.
  • The toggle on our public pricing page changes the display only. Flipping it to ₹ there does not make your account bill in rupees. It exists so you can read the other column.
  • The dashboard has no manual override. There is no dropdown to force one currency, by design and by omission — we know it is a gap.
  • If the country cannot be read, it falls back to dollars, quietly. This is the part to watch. A VPN, a corporate network that exits abroad, an unusual browser configuration, or a blocked request all produce the same result: dollars, with no explanation on screen.

In India and seeing $? Do not pay yet.

Turn off any VPN, reload the Billing screen, and look again. If it still offers dollars, emailsupport@orcalinq.com before paying. Paying in the wrong currency is recoverable but tedious for both of us; checking first takes a minute.

Paying in rupees from outside India

And paying in dollars from inside it

Neither is self-serve today. The dashboard follows the country it reads and offers exactly one path. If you need the other one — an Indian business paying in dollars, or an Indian-owned company abroad that wants to be billed in rupees — email support@orcalinq.com saying which currency you need and why. We arrange it manually. That is a real limitation, not a policy.

If you see "₹ payments aren't enabled on this account yet — please contact support", that is a different thing: the rupee payment route is not switched on for your account. It is not about your card or your country. Email us and we will enable it.

Worth knowing

The two payment paths behave differently

How it feelsA payment window opens over the dashboard. Cards, UPI and net banking, as your bank allows. You are taken to a hosted checkout page and returned afterwards.
RenewalOne payment at a time. It extends your access by 30 days and we prompt you again — nothing is auto-debited from your account.A managed subscription, with a billing portal for changing or cancelling.
If a payment does not registerWe re-check the payment with the provider before granting anything, so a genuine payment lands even if your browser closed mid-way. If it still has not appeared after a few minutes, contact us with the payment id.Same principle — the provider confirms it to us directly.

Because rupee payments are one at a time, put a reminder in your calendar for a day or two before the 30 days end if the service is business-critical. Your current period end is shown on the Billing screen.

What the price does not cover

Two costs that are not ours to charge

  • Channel provider fees. Connect your own channel accounts — WhatsApp, Telegram, and more. Provider fees are paid directly to your provider through your own account; the platform never marks them up.
  • Your own AI account, if you choose to use one. AI is included on every plan and runs on our infrastructure. Want a premium model? Bring your own OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini key on any paid plan at the same price. Either way you're never charged per message — you pay only for your plan.

Neither appears on any payment from us, in either currency. If you have connected your own WhatsApp or your own AI key, expect a separate bill from those providers, at their prices.

If that did not work

Before you email us

  • Wrong currency offered? Turn off the VPN and reload Billing first. Tell us which currency you saw and which country you are in.
  • Paid but the plan did not change? Wait a couple of minutes and reload — we confirm the payment with the provider before upgrading. If it is still wrong, send the payment id shown by your bank or the payment window, and the exact amount.
  • Charged an amount you did not expect? Check the Invoices tab: it records the amount and currency of every payment. Quote the row to us rather than describing it.
  • Need a GST invoice? Send your registered name, address and GSTIN. Say whether you have already paid.
  • Want to stop paying? On the dollar path, use the billing portal linked from the Billing screen. On the rupee path there is nothing to cancel — simply do not make the next payment; access runs to the end of the 30 days you paid for. Our refunds page covers the rest.
  • Email support@orcalinq.com for any of the above. Never send card details, a UPI PIN or a one-time password to us or to anybody claiming to be us.

₹ in India, $ elsewhere, nothing added at the end.

If your Billing screen offers the currency you did not expect, check before you pay — that one is on us to fix, not you.
